Your profile is your "Real Estate Passport." Keeping it updated ensures liquidity and trust.
To keep the Neobnb community Safe & Trusted, certain updates require specific verification steps. This ensures your account security and maintains our platform integrity.
1. Basic Profile Updates
How to Update: Navigate to Profile > Settings > Edit Profile
What you can change:
- Email & Phone: Go to Settings → Contact. New contact methods must be verified via SMS or Email OTP (One-Time Password) to remain active.
- Profile Bio: Tell your story. High-quality bios help build trust.
- Profile Photo: Use a clear, professional photo. High-quality photos increase booking/sales rates by an average of 40%.

2. Identity & "Safe & Trusted" Badging
Because Neobnb involves legal contracts, sensitive updates require re-verification:
Sensitive Identity Updates (Re-Verification Required)
Legal Name
Must match your government-issued ID. Updating your name will temporarily pause your "Verified" badge and trigger a one-time re-scan of your ID.
Government ID
If your ID expires or changes, upload a new scan under Settings > Verification. We re-run our biometric match to ensure your account hasn't been hijacked.
Biometric Refresh
If your appearance has changed significantly, you can refresh your "Liveness Check" in the Security tab to ensure seamless "Instant Book" access.

3. Financial & Payout Settings
Payment Methods
Update credit cards for BNB Mode and Rent Mode bookings.
Payout Methods (Hosts/Sellers)
Link your bank account or digital wallet where you receive earnings from your listings.
🔒 Security Hold (48 Hours)
For your protection, there is a 48-hour security hold on all payouts following a change to your banking or wallet information. This prevents unauthorized withdrawals if your account is ever compromised.
4. Mode Customization
User Preferences
Update your "Smart Filters" to tell the AI what you're looking for (e.g., "I only want pet-friendly Rent Mode properties" or "Show me BNB spaces near public transit").
Host Settings
Toggle your availability for BNB Mode vs. Rent Mode. Set your preferred booking types, cancellation policies, and instant booking preferences.
5. Switching Modes
You don't need a new account to become a Host or switch between modes. Simply tap "Switch to Hosting" in your profile menu to unlock the Host Dashboard and listing tools.
The same verified profile can be used across BNB Mode (short stays), Rent Mode (long-term), and Sell Mode (property sales).
