Neobnb Privacy Policy
Last Updated: December 27, 2025
Version: 1.0 (Global Operations)
At Neobnb, we believe your data should be as secure as your home. This Privacy Policy describes how Neobnb ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information across our three modes: BNB, Rent, and Sell.
1. Information We Collect
To facilitate a global real estate marketplace, we collect data in three ways:
A. Information You Provide Directly
- Account Identity: Legal name, email, phone number, and profile picture.
- Verification Data: Government-issued ID, tax identification numbers, and in some jurisdictions, a "selfie" for biometric comparison to ensure the person behind the screen is who they claim to be.
- Listing Details: For Hosts/Sellers—property addresses, photos, pricing, and availability.
- Financial Data: Bank account or payment card details (processed securely via PCI-DSS compliant partners like Stripe).
B. Automated Data Collection
- Geolocation: Precise GPS data to show you spaces nearby (only with your explicit mobile OS permission).
- Usage Patterns: Search history, "Saved" properties, and interaction with the Neobnb "Smart Filters."
- Device Metadata: IP address, browser type, and operating system for security and fraud prevention.
C. Information from Third Parties
- Background Checks: Where legally permitted, we receive criminal record or credit history data from authorized screening providers.
- Social Logins: Data provided via Google, Apple, or Meta if you choose to sign up through those services.
2. How We Use Data by Mode
Neobnb processes your data differently depending on how you use the platform:
3. How Data is Shared Within the Community
The core of Neobnb is connection. To make that happen, we share specific data:
- Between Users: Once a booking or rental inquiry is confirmed, we share relevant details (e.g., a Guest's name with a Host, or a Buyer's contact info with a Seller).
- Public Profiles: Your ratings, reviews, and general profile (excluding private contact info) are visible to other community members.
- Legal Necessity: We may disclose data to authorities if required to prevent fraud, protect user safety, or comply with tax and housing regulations.
4. Biometric Data & Identity Verification
To maintain our "Safe & Trusted" status:
- We use third-party providers to verify your identity.
- If you opt-in to biometric verification, a digital "map" of your face is compared to your ID.
- Neobnb does not store your raw biometric data; we only receive a "Pass/Fail" token from our secure verification partner.
5. Your Global Data Rights
Regardless of your location, Neobnb grants you the following "Privacy Power":
- Right to Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you.
- Right to Erasure: Request that we delete your account and personal info (subject to legal retention requirements, such as tax records).
- Right to Portability: Move your data to another service easily.
- Opt-Out of "Sale": Neobnb does not sell your personal data for money. However, you may opt-out of "sharing" data for targeted advertising through your account settings.
6. Data Retention & Security
- Retention: We keep your data only as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law (e.g., 7 years for financial transactions).
- Security: We employ AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 for data in transit. We conduct regular "Penetration Tests" to ensure our platform is an unshakeable fortress.
